Meet Paul Loeb
Paul Loeb is a transportation pioneer who has the vision, leadership and enthusiasm needed to create a powerful force within the transportation world. His former company, American Backhaulers, was started in 1981 shortly after the deregulation of the trucking industry. He built a powerful, nimble, company that had been one of the largest pure transportation brokers in the world.
Paul believed then, as he does now, that profitable, happy carriers are the key to bringing true value to shippers. In 1999, Paul sold the firm with the thought that retirement sounded good. Five years later, however, he had the itch to do it all over again. He contacted Danny Zamost, a former ABH employee, and eventually partnered with him to create Command Transportation.
Within two years, the company grew from 30 employees located in one office to over 200 employees, with new offices in Kansas City, Houston, Detroit, Saint Louis and Toronto, Ontario. Known throughout the broker world as the grandfather of the industry, Paul's experience, knowledge and leadership are some of Command's greatest assets.
